News: Project Optimus Commercial

Lisbon - 19/02/2007 - Chain reactions are very suitable for TV-commercials. Oftentimes we are involved in project ideas involving chain reactions in commercials. Our latest project is for a big telecom company in Portugal, named Optimus. The production agency for the commercial, Garage Films, asked us to place a whole lot of CD boxes at several locations outside in the streets of Lisbon.

In the commercial, all CD boxes would topple while a young man runs to keep up with the toppling boxes. In the end, the new Nokia 5200 mobile phone with MP3 player inside is revealed.

Of course placing CD boxes on their edge is a challenge. But the wind and the bumpy, unlevelled streets made it a real adventure. We had prepared different techniques to make it work easier.

Working together with the production crew in Lisbon went smoothly.
The shooting day was a long and busy day, but a very successful one!
