Leeuwarden - 17/11/2006 - After eight hard weeks of building we were finally ready to topple the 4.4 million dominoes which were put up. During a show that lasted almost two hours we managed to topple most of the dominoes that were put up resulting in a new world record with 4.079.381 dominoes toppled.
The theme of the show was Music in Motion. The musical experience combined with the almost perfect domino flow resulted in supreme television. Over 85 million people watched the entertainment.
The four builders' challenges caused some exciting moments during the show. The first 3 challenges failed. However, under huge pressure, two builders performed an excellent task during the last builders' challenge. They filled eight gaps in a domino line which resulted in an additional 400.000 toppling dominoes. A new world record could be reached. Although it was close, we managed to break the record with 75.000 dominoes more than in 2005.
