A few weeks before Christmas we made a domino show completely in Christmas style for the cultural association Inatel in Portugal.
This domino show was a public event at an international Christmas exhibition. The exhibition was held at the FIL in Lisbon. This is a big event complex which was built for the World Exhibition in 1998. During the one week the Christmas exhibition took place we, with a team of 17 persons, build up the show which counted around 150.000 dominoes.
The show was divided in two main parts, the traditional/religious Christmas and the modern/commercial Christmas. For the big final of the show we created a 5 meter high Christmas tree fully decorated with dominoes.
On the evening of the show a famous Portuguese comedian (Pedro Tochas) explained to the viewers what would happen during the show and after a successful toppling he did his own award winning international comedy show.
The domino show was a big success and we got good responses from the public and Inatel.
