Woerden - 10/07/2008 - In November of this year the team of Weijers Domino Productions will try to break the world record domino toppling. They will put up 4.5 million dominoes in the WTC Expo Center in Leeuwarden to try topping the record which is currently set at an incredible 4.079.381 dominoes toppled.
‘Celebrating 10 years of Domino Day- Breaking more World Records than ever-‘ is the central theme of this year's spectacular edition. Domino Day is the ultimate world record show on television, which this year celebrates its 10th anniversary.
‘Each year it’s a challenge for us to make the project bigger, better and more exciting. Because we did not break the record last year, our feelings of revenge makes the challenge even bigger! We surely want to break the world record from 2006’, says Mr. Domino Robin Weijers.
