Warner Bros Productions asked us to design and realise domino for the film V for Vendetta.
This hit movie by James McTeigue and the Wachowski Brothers, contains a domino display in V-form of 22,000 dominoes. We have built this set two times. It took 4 of our crew members 3 working days per set, so in total there was more than 200 hours building time for the two sets needed.
We proposed and designed the domino set up with its falling patterns as well as colouring effects. In Holland, we tested all the settings, computed the timing, made the necessary techniques and prepared the dominoes. During two shooting days Robin Weijers consulted The Wachowski Brothers with all his domino experience.
