Woerden - 05/01/2007 - Almost two months have passed since we made a new world record in domino toppling. We've had enough time to enjoy our victory and it is about time to share our joyful feeling with someone else.
In our Domino Day contest we asked you to predict how many dominoes would topple on the 17th of November. After a dazzling show the notary announced that 4.079.381 dominoes toppled. Of course, there was no one who predicted the exact number, but with 4.078.500 5-year old Thomas Hartigan from Ireland came very close. He has been selected as the prize winner of the Domino Day 2006 contest and will receive a goody bag with several domino clothes and gadgets.
Within a couple of weeks you can expect a new domino contest on this website so be sure to check back.
