Domino Day 2006 has been swinging and exciting. The central theme was Music in Motion. We tried our best to find unique ways to translate different types of music, from classical to disco, into a domino show. And we succeeded!
Domino representing Disco Fever, Classical music, Hip hop, Rock 'n Roll and many more. Nine genres of music were presented to our viewers. Considering the many questions about the music that was used during the show, we know we made an interesting choice.
This year, Domino Day contained four builders' challenges. The first three were difficult and did not go too well. Luckily, the last builders' challenge made up for that: the 400.000 dominoes of this builders' challenge ensured a new world record: 4.079.381 dominoes !
Domino Day 2006 was held on 17 November at the WTC Expo in Leeuwarden.
